I've spent a lot of my life paying attention to things art, architecture, interiors, places, objects, food, music, design.

Being a creative person has probably made me this way. I’m always looking at these things with appreciation. 

So I thought I'd start sharing some of them with you.

This isn't going to be a shopping list or a collection of things you need to buy. It's simply a few things I'm enjoying, thinking about, or discovering right now.

Sometimes they'll be connected to art and design. Sometimes they'll have nothing to do with photography at all.

Just things I think are worth paying attention to.

1. Podcast- “You’re Never Too Old”.

01 — MEL ROBBINS × GARY VAYNERCHUK

On my Labor Day hike, I listened to the Mel Robbins Podcast episode with Gary Vee, and there's something about the conversation that really stuck with me.

I have been a fan of Gary Vee’s for many years. He really pushes getting on social media a POSTING content and he is always the kick in the butt I need. Maybe that's why I finally started this newsletter.

Gary talks about getting older / building a business / taking action / not waiting for the perfect moment.

2. Sunscreen- A Must!

02 — PREQUEL SUNSCREEN

I'm pretty particular about what I put on my skin.

I have rosacea and eczema, so skincare isn't really something I can treat casually. My skin lets me know pretty quickly when it doesn't like something.

I've been using Prequel's sunscreen, for months now, I'm really loving it.

It doesn’t irritate my skin, it’s lightweight and semi-transparent for a mineral sunscreen!

It also has a little peachy hue to help cover any redness.

I'm always interested in products that are actually good, rather than products that are simply having a moment on Instagram.

3. MADONNA!

One of my favorite things right now is Madonna's new album, Confessions II.

I've been a Madonna fan for as long as I can remember, and I've seen her in concert at least four times. So I have a pretty long history with Madonna and I have to say, I think this is one of her best albums in years.

What I love about it is that it doesn't feel like she's simply trying to recreate Confessions on a Dance Floor. She went back to Stuart Price, but there's something fresh about the record. It's dance music, obviously, but there's also this feeling of experience behind it.

I've had it on repeat.
